there is a brand new house being built across from me and they put up a blockade around the perimiter. It was a stormy day yesterday and a manacle link wall fell on my car and broke the side panorama mirror... My car be parked on the street. Should i go through insurance? whos at blemish? thanks
no..
Ask the construction to payment for it...
your insurance company should help you to do paperwork and within the case sue them.
I would contact them going on for it and see if they will pay for it because it is within fault. adjectives fences and items on construction sites have need of to be secured down. They should pay for your repairs. but for I would take them to small claims court to get hold of the cost of repairs from them.
you might want to call your insurace because they might facilitate you go after the construction company to take paid for the damages.
Answers: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING TO YOUR INSURANCE AGENT. HE WILL WRITE IT UP AS AN INCIDENT AND IT MAY CAUSE YOU A PROBLEM OR COST YOU MONEY IN A HIGHER PREMIUM. HE WON'T TELL YOU THAT, THOUGH.
I would definately consent to the contractor know. Hopefully he would give you compensation for it or you can explain to him to report to his insurance. They should be responsible.
