hi, my washer dosent work.... it turns on fine but it dosent spin... it also through the water as it be about to wipe up but just stys here and dose not suck it back up, i dont here any noise either.what could it be???

Answers:    The lid must be closed for spin. The lid have a striker in it that pushes against a switch. This switch allows for spin IF the lid is closed. The switch may enjoy failed. Mechanically the striker may be broken or the actuator arm may be broken. You can check the switch. If you have a meter. If not you can simply bypass this switch. If their are solitary 2 wires going to the switch just touch them together(carefully)while within spin mode. If 3 wires are ther 2 gray and one green. Disregard the green. it is chassis ground. Do not leave it bypassed if you own small children or braindead brother in law.

Mine did that too. A sock or small piece of clothing is probably stuck in it. You can abandoned the catch skin.
