$60 per foot for Rinnai vent pipe?
My plumber says the vent pipe for a Rinnai tankless water electric fire costs $60 per foot, plus the cost of the labor to install it. It's concentric vent pipe, with the exhaust gas in an inside pipe, and the intake nouns in the area between that inside pipe and the outside pipe.
Does the $60 per foot nouns right? It seems kind of dignified to me.
some company's make their own pipe and insist it will void the warranty if you don't use it
I have been putting within water heaters for many years, and I don't see how you can compete beside a plain old standard water oven with a standing pilot. Mine has run for 14 years, and never given one problem. I will guarantee you this... If you own a tankless heater installed, you will have more than one problem within a 14 year period. Where is the savings near? These are not simple units, and not simple to repair. How green is that? 60 a foot in not out of rank, you might find it a bit cheaper but i doubt it .it is expensive that's for sure
Answers: yes it is right because you need to use stainless steel pipe for your tankless water kiln. that stuff is really expensive
