last night it worked properly while i mowed the front yard, but starting losing power (like if you got into some really giant grass and it was a little much for the mower). when i get to the back it just stopped. it would crank when i pulled the cord, but would next quit.
the other day i didn't realize it was out of gas, so i be trying to crank it for about 10 minutes before i figure it out. could that have clogged something up?...the Honda engine doesn't have a primer, u only just open and close the fuel line.
fuel filter, perchance something else? by the way, any suggestions on where the fuel filter is on 21" Troy-Bilt push mowers within general?...something easy to access?
Answers: I a short time ago went through this same thing. Made me consistency like an idiot. It is the air filter. It should hold a screw or a turn knob on the side that you unscrew and it reveals the air filter. take it out, assault the dirt out of it and put it back in. Remember how you took it out, it simply goes in one road.
It will start after that. Good luck.
First check all of your filters. Second remove and verbs the spark plug. If these don't help, then check your fuel itself. It could be contaminated next to water.
