Answers:    Where do you live? Mid-March sounds charitable of early to plant pip in the ground, and it may own got too mushy and rotted before it germinate.
Seeds required different things to make them germinate. Some close to primula like a time of year of cold. Some like to be covered , others obligation light. I suggest you plant seed in pots to start. Some kernel suppliers will give you information on raise seeds. Or try the Internet for that information. Also some seedling do not like mortal transplanted, those are best sown directly into the soil. Patience is needed too for seed sowing, so hopefully some more of your seed will come up. I think growing from pip is exciting and a challenge. Good luck.
