We have a hulking tree in our subsidise yard, i hold no idea what manner it is, we just hold it for shade. There are all sorts of vines and weed growing around it, will round up kill the tree? it is atleast 55 foot tall and the plinth about 3 and 1/2 foot in wideness. does anyone have any other suggestion for bloodbath the weeds? Thank you within advance.
Answers: Pull the weed back from the tree and stomp them down on the ground. Don't try to decimate them, but opening up their pores by risky them a little will support the Roundup be absorbed. Then spray them near Roundup while holding a large piece of cardboard between the weed and the tree. Work your way around the tree, moving the cardboard as you shift. This way the weed will be killed but you won't do any mischief to the tree. Whatever Roundup gets on the exposed roots of the tree is not going to hurt a hulking tree, as this part of the tree does not "breathe" contained by the way that leaves do.
Roundup is for butchery everything when sprayed on the leaves. Grass, broad-leaf weeds, brush etc. next to no residual in the soil. If the tree have no sprouts from the roots, or suckers and you do not spray the leaves it won't harm a immense tree. Just keep away from anything you do not want to destroy. If it's weeds and not grass you want to waste use 2-4-D amine (not ester, if has noxious fumes).
