Will planting ivy ground cover completely rob over weed and grass, or do I own to clear the ground?
Answers: In my experience ivy covers absolutely everything and hurriedly. Eventually it will cover grass, weeds and also climb up any other shrubs or walls and steal a hold.
It can be very invasive but you can cut it fund regularly to stop its growth for a while. It would be better to reasonably clear the nouns to give it a upright start and plant at intervals over the area you preference to be covered, water very well and it will find it's own way. Good luck.
Depends on the weed. Ivy will cover deep rooted perennial weed but they will grow through. Things like ground elder will cover the ivy. Clear is other the best answer
