Will my grass stop growing surrounded by increase immediately? I was told max length of grass growing is 1-2 foot...

I was told max length of grass growing is 1-2 foot for typical garden grass. It has probably reach about that and it have now what i can one and only describe as "sprouted" at the top so it kind of looks approaching its a field near the nobbly bits at the top. does that mean it will stop growing contained by height? is this the worst its going to catch?
its actually pretty pretty in a passageway... you could go stockpile in it and not a soul would know you were in that... lol ! ;-)
Answers:    Hi, It may get newly a bit taller, but when the seeds from the grass shed, later you will end up near thicker grass. I would get it cut, here are mobile gardeners who don't charge that much if you don't want to cut it. I hated gardening up to 6 years ago, i have big conifer trees and bushes all over my garden, after my "husband" left me and i thought i have better get something done near the garden as i am not getting any younger, i cut all the trees down myself, and presently my garden is my pride and joy, it's particularly therapeutic.
Whatever the predominate core is in the mix will be what you see, and that will be when the flower/ core heads form. It won't be particularly full then as the grass plant will "tiller" when it is mowed seriously more than if it goes to pip. Tillering is when the plant spreads out and intermixes. Your lawn is not one blade of grass per plant but a great number of them and if the plants go to height it doesn't clump right and wilderness energy when it could be spreading. Also, plentifully of grass species thin out fruitless if left to be in motion to seed.
