Will my avocado tree ever branch out if I don't pinch the few leaves that grow on the top? ...
Answers: It depends a little on the group. When avocados put out a new flush of growth, you usually win more than one shoot from the tip. Some varieties are really bushy, at least as youthful trees, others grow more upright. If you own a recently planted tree, I would suggest departing it alone until it starts to grow. After you see two or three flushes of growth you will be able to narrate what kind of shape the tree will own. If it is too tall near few branches, you can top it later.
We be moving away, and the last article we did before we vanished was plant the little avocado tree we have growing in a jar, contained by the kitchen window. The subsequent time I saw that little tree, it was twenty foot glorious, had a two foot cavernous trunk, with yawning spreading branches filled beside large superb advocados! So, I think it will. Byee
