Answers: I've got an oak sour my deck, and numerous bird-related things have be nailed and screwed into it over the years. Many of these things are in a minute inside the tree, it was merry to grow right over and around them.
If you made your house to last, hand down a 1/4" gap between it and the tree, using spacers. That channel, the tree won't immediately be growing into the fund of the house.
I would think it will be fine. Oak trees are pretty robust.
