I'm thinking of putting down blood meal to discourage squirrels from my rose bushes, but I own a dog. Will the blood meal attract her to the bushes and provoke her to dig at them?

Answers:    Yes I'm afraid it does together near bone meal. A few years ago I fertilized a unbroken herbaceous border with a dried blood bone breakfast time mix. when I returned from work my jack russell had scratched partially the border up. Apparently this is quite a adjectives occurrence.
