It gets plenty of water , Is near something I need to put on it ?
Probably dogs and there is no cure to bring the grass back . Reseed this topple.
They have motion controlled srinklers for dogs and deer if it messes with you that much Maybe dogs are peeing on it, or you own grubs. If you can easily pull up the turf and see white grubs underneath, you call for a grubicide like Grub-ex
Do you hold a dog?
Puppy piss kills grass. Or there could be caustic pine needles which you may not rake up in time. Did someone spill gas there?
Lots of reason... However, dig the associated soil up with a shovel and put down brand new soil, a little lime and grass seed. However, I don't know how big the spots are.
repress: Don't put down fertilizer in just one spot!! you don't hold to use it, unless you're doing the whole thing. It will be extremely green and be a distraction from the rest of the pasture.
Trust me.

Re fertilizing the lawn can be even more harmful to the spot as the level of acidity and nitrogen have made the spot barren. In directive to readjust the pH of your soil if you do have animals and these spots occur where on earth they are allowed to roam use something like garden lime available at gardening stores. A customer service rep should be able to assistance you find it.
To reduce the effects of your dogs urine I suggest you check for tablets that will eliminate washed out spots. I don't know where to find them but we used to give them to our ashen lab (about 1x daily) and it neutralized the negative effects of the urine.
If you indeed do not enjoy animals impacting the soil quality, a strong possibility could be that you have a turf disease that could be resulting from grub or fungus. If this is the crust a local retailer will be able to point you in the right direction. This commonly results in application of pesticides or fungicides.
Also, if you are over watering of turf will cause rot and this can almost to be sure be prevented by watering in the AM and by making sure your lawn is properly drained and aerated.
My guess is probably from other dogs urinating on your lawn conceivably you wife peeing in the lawn.
