I am new to growing veg but have a unmarked very well prepared raise bed that seemed to be doing well up until a week or so ago when adjectives the leaves on the above plants started turning yellow/white. My root vegetables seem to be doing fine. Does any have any suggestions as to the motive and cure?
its harvest time or close too it
cabbage, broccoli and brussel sprounts are cool season plants and don't do well when it heat up. They are best planted in the fall or surrounded by the spring depending on where you live. They need to grown in cool weather. I reccomend getting a good common vegetable book as there are different times of the year to plant each vegetable as resourcefully as depth, distance, etc... When the leaves of my cabbage did the same, I put some tomato leaves on them. My cabbage looks fine now. I've read surrounded by a 'green gardening' book that an infusion of tomato leaves will help the cabbage, but I didn't have time for infusions. I lately took the suckers off of my tomato plants and did two jobs at like peas in a pod time.
