i thought i saw 2 buds this year. But now, it still remain enormously tiny and even seems dried up!
what can be the problems?
peonies need lots of sun. u should also fertilize them reguarly. if u move developed peony from place to place it might never give flowers again. but as u said that a few buds dried it probably method your plant doesn't have satisfactory nutritions. u won't save those buds any more, but if u start regularly fertilizing it I don`t know u will have a unsullied ones. good luck
There are so oodles factors.
Peonies are solid pains.
They are fussy.
If you're saying it looks dried up, is it? Get your thumbnail and mark some of the dryness off. If its green underneath, nurture, water and nurture it.
If you can't find green, its comatose.
Was it a big peony that you transplanted? They don't like mortal moved.
They like to be put surrounded by at just the right plane, not too deep, not too shallow.
Sorry, I can't be of more minister to but I'm just going bad the limited info you give.
Answers: The number one inflict for problems with peony is planting too cavernous. Dig it up and plant it higher and I'll bet subsequent year you'll get flowers.
