Why doesnt my Jasmine plant bloom?
Answers: There could be a number of reasons for your Jasmine not blooming as it should at its best.
It will involve sufficient light, in command to grow strongly, and initiate flowering, so check its site. If it's indoors, sometimes harsh direct sunlight can harm/shock plants, so high level of indirect light would be good. If it's outdoors, impart it plenty of light.
Feed it with a fertilizer that's elevated in Potassium (K). All fertilizers show their nutrient mix in the form of N:P:K, such as 10:10:15, which would indicate more Potassium within the mix - you need Potassium for flowering. Feed regularly during the growing season.
If your plant's really root bound, consider repotting it into fresh soil, this will encourage it to grow resourcefully. Avoid overwatering Jasmines too, as this will not allow it to grow as healthily as otherwise.
If it's a pot plant and you have a garden, consider placing it outside for some of the summer - this will give it better fluffy, and may just be all you obligation to nudge it into flowering, alongside fertilizer.
Hope this helps. Good luck! Rob
It sounds like you probaly cut it hindmost too long after the blooms had faded - you need to cut it right after that because otherwise you wind up up removing the part of the stem that has already be programmed to produce the next years blooms! Those are set within a few weeks of the bring to a close of bloom - so you pretty much cut Jasmine right after it blooms - true of most blooming evergreens, actually, if you want them to bloom the next season near any vigor. Overwtaering will also cuase them not to bloom..the same as morning glories , bouganvillas, and heaps other plants bloom better when "under stress' ..back rotten on the water and do not saturate the soil..hang on to from normal to slightly damp..
