Why do washed out crocuses bloom previously the blue and white, and sickly roses appear to bloom previously other colours?
Answers: Good question! Your assuption seem to be that it has somehing to do beside the colors, and this is not the case. Each type of flower have different characteristics. Let's use tulips and daffodils as an example. Some are early season bloomers, some are midseason and some are past due bloomers. The season might be April through May, and you might have flowers the full time, but you won't have one that blooms the integral season. This has zilch to do with the color, in recent times the characteristics of the plant.
