Why do my Dafodils never bloom. I nurture them and they come up other but no blooms?

Daffodils stop blooming if they get over crowded. If this is the defence dig them up and split them up, re-plant them a bit apart.
Some times it is of late the bulb getting old if they hold been surrounded by many years especially if planted surrounded by grass. You also have to agree to the leaves die down naturally for nearly six weeks after blooming to let the bulbs build food for the subsequent year.
