My morning glories are not blooming. Anyone know why? They were no close to this big last year when they already had blooms. They should be purple and blue. I Planted 2 diff. kind.

Answers:    they necessitate both sun and water. like their cousins tomatos, eggplants and tobacco plants.(Also the (gasp) Deadly Nightshade.) Add a tiny bit of Miracle Gro too.

Could be too much fertilizer, especially nitrogen. This would promote energetic foliage growth but would slow down flowering.
