a few days ago we we at in Santa Monica and my friend be wondering why palms are so expensive,
Answers:    Some of them are slow to grow, as well as the nurseries that grow them person restricted to warmer locations, or entail higher enthusiasm bills for winter growth and protection. I think tons of them are overpriced, and I grow my own from seed.

Seed growing can be strictly inexpensive - just core cost, soil and pots - and is also rewarding as you see your plants from start to finish. Otherwise, you could buy some very small seedling, which will be much cheaper.

I always shop around next to plants, and I've seen some oversize prices around the Bay area, and however reasonable prices outside, and places close to San Diego. I'd phone around if you're thinking of buying the larger specimens, as it may be cheaper getting a delivery than picking up from the most local place.
