I Live is Las vegas and am looking to add a develop tree (15 feet +) to our backyard, save in mind that we own a pool in the backyard aswell in the order of 20 feet away from where on earth the tree would go. any striking shade providing tree reccomendations ?
Answers: Palms are good because the roots won't grow to crack the pool! Also they don't drop leaves. Fig trees do okay and provide tremendus shade the leaves are huge!
Larger trees tend to have more problems beside transplant shock, which in frequent cases will slow a larger trees growth. For this reason don't shy away from a tree that may be a short time smaller and a better price, as it could very very well surpass the growth of and older and larger tree planted at a greater cost.
I would recommend a nice maple or any tree with larger leaves. This would be paid clean up easier around the pool.
