Which is the easiest houseplant to keep hold of alive? What is the lifespan of a pathos?
What is the lifespan of a pathos?
I have no green on my thumb when it come to houseplants. However, I do have a Mother-in-laws tongue & a rubber plant I haven't kill yet for the past 9 years. When the rubber plant grows to the ceiling, I cut the top stale, put it in water, a month or so subsequently it has roots for me to start all over again. I don't know what a pathos is, sorry. I hold a Heart Leaf Philodendron it is part of a plant that was given to may aunt over 50 years ago. The plant I enjoy was my mothers cutting, it is at most minuscule 20 years old. I am going to give a adjectives to my daughter, that will make it three generations, a heirloom plant.
Good luck which ever one you choose.

snakeplant is really flowing, it tolerates shade and sun exposure, you don't have to water it adjectives the time. Google it and look at pictures. it is pretty interesting plant. Also small ficus (like benjamina) would be easy to keep alive, but it is a bit harder than snakeplant.
pious luck !
Easiest houseplant.cactus. ZZ-Plant is the easiest housplant.
And did you mean "pothos"?
I do pretty well with pothos. I close to peace lily also. When it needs water, it looks wilted, but comes right backbone when you water it! Cactus does well; you can forgetfulness it for months!
Good Luck!
Answers: My houseplants are:
Sansevieria trifasciata, also called mother-in-law's-tongue because it's pointy and sharp.

It spreads slowly, doesn't require much sunlight, and can be ignored for months. I dampen mine once a month, and it still spreads.
A rubber plant (ficus elastica) is also a great choice. http://www.ext.colostate.edu/ptlk/1326.h...
Ponytail palms http://www.solanaselect.com/trees/medium... are excellent choices. They do like bright indoor light, but don't own to be watered frequently. Their foilage can be sharp, however.
I'm not very familiar beside pothos ivy. I avoid ivy plants, as they don't seem to like me.
