Which herb do you close to to grow?

My favorites are garlic and oregano because they are perennials (I'm in zone 2), produce approaching crazy, don't really need any prone (I just agree to mother nature embezzle its course), and I like to use them within my cooking. I have also grown parsely (grew very well three times, but never came stern despite being considered a perennial), basil (yummy! some varieties grow better than others), sage (stayed pretty small, but conceivably because it was surrounded by a pot, not the garden), dill (best to let it grow within the garden, doesn't like pots), marjoram (flowered nice, but its best to pinch them stale or you won't get as various leaves), thyme (didn't grow great, but maybe because I have it in a pot), and savory (mostly flowes, not deeply of leaves to harvest).

I have rather herb garden next to my balcony for easy clipping while cooking
I grow basil because I use it alot it smells really apt too., also chives grow really well here surrounded by the Midwest and come back every year!
I also approaching dill, it gets really big and smells great. I resembling parsley too, great in spag. sauce! and Cilantro, to engender my fabulous salsa!
Watch out for spearmint makes great tea but it wishes to be planted in a pot, afterwards bury the pot in the ground other prudent the roots go totally crazy.
Rosemary and sage grow suitable as well, but i don't cook next to them as much as the others. E
Answers:    I have thyme, dill, basil, oregano, majoram, parsley and coriander. Dills grow all right in pot so are the others except thyme. Thyme is growing too slow. No thought why is that.
