Answers:    You are searching for "rock polishing grit" or "rock tumbler grit" or "lapidary supplies grit." I'd do a trellis search on those words and see what comes up.

You could also check at your local hobby shop (joann's, michaels, hobby lobby) or better nonetheless, at a local lapidary supply shop.

In the pool business we use sand for sand filters but also for sandblasting. You can look for sandblasting supplies surrounded by your local yellow page and if you know the grit you need they should enjoy it. They carry heaps different grits for different types of work and it should be cheaper than a specialty store.
