my patio is contained on adjectives sides with a brick wall and when it rain the water have nowhere to go. i am in the order of to take up the mature slabs and replace them, can i incorporate some kind of soak away so that the wet drains away.
Answers: That was feebly planned...
You could put a soak-away in the middle, but be the patio laid next to that in mind i.e. would the hose down all drain towards the middle?
Seems close to the moral here is "Don't build a patio at the bottom of a slope!" - but surely, the trouble-free way would be to find the lowest point - i.e. chuck a container of water down contained by there when it's dry and see where on earth the water go to first - and then drill a hole contained by the brickwork at that point (and of course at ground rank!) and any water will after surely run out. If it then a short time ago sits there, fit a small bore pipe so that it can convey the rainwater to a lower level. And why, when adjectives of the thumbs down merchants been so busy, none of them hold come up with such a simple remedy... ! ! !
