I hear gardening is very theraputic,And I love to cook next to fresh herbs. What should I do to go and get started?
Answers:    I am in southwest Florida, and I usually lurk until after the middle of february to plant new things. That get me past the risk of a complicated freeze. You have a unsystematic of frost for a month after that, but you can cover new plants to protect them from frost. Depending on how far you are north or south of my location you can plan suitably. That gives you time to prepare your garden for planting. Herbs do not nick alot of space, so you can use part of an existing flower bed. I find that herb do best in uncertainty here in Florida. The summer sun and steam can be too much for them.
So just carry started. Clear out the grass and weeds from a subsection of garden, till or mix in some life matter, and gain some mulch. Then you can shop for herb plants, which are readily available. Try as heaps types as you want. Some will do better than others.
The people that create Chia pets have also made an herb garden. Sounds kinda funny, but it's inexpensive, and, they claim, natural to grow. It might be a good agency to get started, find out what you close to, then start your own fanlight sill garden with the herb you use most.
