I've been wondering going on for this for a little while and today saw a blackbird's nest next to hungry chicks being feed. Is this earlier than run of the mill, or do birds lay their eggs quite hasty to give them a uncertainty to hatch and start fending for themselves in time for subsequent winter?
Answers:    It's a bit early - I would own said usually the end of February.
The problem is that we've have an unusually mild Winter, then adjectives this sunshine, and I think their biological clocks are a bit out of sync.
Put out some blackbird kernel mix for them (or robin mix) - they will be struggling to find enough grubs - and put together sure there is drinking sea. I am having to pour a kettle of boiling hose in my bird hip bath every morning at the moment, to thaw it out.
I live within the south east and the birds are all passionate round here (So i've heard) and as for laying eggs in good health you would probaly know more about eggs than i would.
