I planted a row of Marigold seeds,i probably put contained by to many and i enjoy now frequent shoots at about 4 inches big.What do i do now?,do i purely pull some shoots out to move a gap,if so how big a opening,and at what height should i verbs them,once pulled can i put these shoots somewhere else or will they be damaged.Sorry if i nouns stupid,i am very spanking new to gardrning.

Step 1:Start marigolds from seed indoors in spring, six to eight weeks back your region's last frost date. Or, if you don't mind after that blooms, start them after the last frost date. very soon is a good time ~ it's best to delicate them out when then get 2~4 inches. Pull them all up & replant respectively one again.
