Answers: Round up FIRST. Round up desires to be absorbed through growing leaves to work. Mow it down, and it won't verbs in as much of the herbicide.
If it have underground roots, they may store some energy, and it may pilfer more than one application to quell it.
I have be dealing with some of matching issues lately because I have be turning overgrown areas into newly landscape beds. What have worked best for me has be to remove as much of the vine as possible then cover the nouns with black plastic. This help to kill the vine down to the roots.
