What's the best time for trimming bushes?
I do not do my own landscaping; I own it done for me by a Brazilian person. ;-)
I usually prefer my landscape to be done in the morning, right after my morning shower when I am fresh and verbs.
Depends on the bush. If it is a spring flowering bush, you want to trim just after flowering since the flower buds for the subsequent year are formed by mid summer. If it is a summer flowering shrub, prune after flowering or early contained by spring, but by early summer stop so buds can form. If the plant doesn't do much pretty stuff, then I prefer to agree to them get their spring growth spurt over since operating on them.
Now there is a big difference between trimming and pruning. I option you'd learn the difference and prune, not trim. Your shrubs will be far improved. Alas, 99% of landscape those only trim thus making nice green ball that really don't show the beauty or enhance the vigour of the shrub.
Answers: I think right formerly spring time
Any time that they either interfere next to activities that can't effortlessly be moved elsewhere, or start getting in the bearing of a particularly desirable panorama, trimming is in instruct.
