I always use dish soap and hose down and find it really effective. Dish soap mixed w/ cold water surrounded by a spray bottle. bugs hate soap and you can always swab it off before cooking.
the dish soap idea is great, but please put together sure that you do not spray it on the plants during the hot part of the day. The soap attracts the bake or something like that and your plants will burn. Diatonacheous (spell?) Earth. It will be in the natural isle. Or in pool supply stores.
Answers: Sevin is a pesticide to be exact toxic to ALL insects, not just the 'unwanted' ones. Honeybees are badly artificial by chemicals, and are threatened now by Colony Collapse Disease. Researchers believe that the disease is caused by different factors, but the biggest suspect is pesticides that, if it doesn't kill the bees, it lowers their resistance to diseases, which open them to infections that travel throughout the hive. Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been lost from Honeybee loss, and the pollination they get out in the fruit and vegetable industry. Most of the food we eat is pollinated by bees. If we lose the bees, we lose most of our food.
