Answers:    Japanese beetle seem to love roses, rose of sharons and golden lights azalea. I wouldn't discourage you from buying Rose of Sharon and golden lights azalea though, they are beautiful plants and the beetle are easy to control on them by using Ortho Bug B Gone max in the red container. I would stay away from roses, they are wonderful but they are too high maintenance. The are overbred and as a result insects and diseases love them.
