My back patio starts with an incline. I enjoy approx. a 20ft. length of yard that I don't want to own to mow because of the incline. What type of plants would be best? The area is full sun.
I would guess the undamaged area to be 20ft. length beside the incline about 10 foot.
Answers:    Madrone (Arbutus) grows on slopes
So does Juniper
And salal does too sometimes.
Creeping raspberry should work too.

Those are just some shrubs within my area.

Are you trying to grow groundcovers or shrubs? Knowing that would help out.
I would suggest a few trees first Dogwood are pretty. Then some ground cover stay away from ivy they are very invasive and can strangle your trees. I'm not sure be you live but look up the natural plants within your area. I love Lilly and they will bequeath you some color for a few month. I like Hydrangeas and butterfly Busch and Gardenia if you close to flowers (Boxwood if you don't like florals). It adjectives depends on your own personal likes too some close to grasses that will fill surrounded by over the years and gives any nouns a nice beachy feeling. Good luck.
