I bought this plant about a month ago, but I hold lost its label and can't remember what it's call.

Anyway, it seems to be leisurely dying and I don't know what to do to bring it back to go. It was a healthly gloomy green at first, but we have have a bout of very hot weather here within Melbourne and the leaves are drooping and starting to turn brown, as you can see in the picture. No amount of watering seem to help. It is sit on my balcony surrounded by direct sunlight.
Please help!
Answers: looks approaching a corn plant, sword plant, or mother-in-law tongue. take it out of the direct sunlight or at smallest so it gets profusely less of it, save the soil damp until it recover, clip the dead rotten the leaves and it should be ok
