Next I watered the veggies and a beautiful not long planted Cabernet Savignon grapevine that grows on an arbor. Oh how I love the earth! I enjoy fruit tree's and honey bee's, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. Is there anything that give you more comfort than the smell of flowers and the taste of freshly picked garden foods? Yes logically there is people and health, but for you garden lovers, What do you grow and how does it fashion you feel and how does your garden grow?
I completely agree with you..nought is more relaxing than watering my plants. Right now the majority of my plants are within containers, I have yummy cherry tomatoes launch to fruit along with a couple variety of hybrids. My zuchinni has exploded and I am looking forward to enjoy some on the grill this week. My shasta daisy's are in full bloom and smell mouth-watering. All of my succulents are happy, along near my snap dragons. The humming birds are loving my Pineapple Guava tree..I could go on forever something like my plants! It make me get the impression so proud to look outside and see the bounty of my garden!
I've been growing adjectives kinds of things for years immediately, mostly herbs & veggies & a few annual flowers.
But this year my peonies(3) bloomed for the first time ( they get weed whacked last spring) & I lately got two climbing roses concluding night! So excited!!
I've be wanting to grow roses for many years but the hubby other shied away. But his dad gave us some trellises & presently we have a place for the roses!! YAY!
We also hold 6 currants,12 blueberry bushes ,3 varieties of grapes,3 peach trees, a cherry tree (first year for cherries),strawberries,black berries, red & black raspberries,3 fig trees, 2 honeyberries.
Also walking onions,horehound,horseradish,sage,greek & italian oregeno,english lavender,spearmint, peppermint,chocolate mint, sweet mellissa,thyme,chives,cat mint,parsely,anise hyssop,nastristrum,dill, cilantro,2 overgrown yucca that the hubby won't module with, oodles hostas, daffodils & hyacinth.
Also a lilac & 3 of these shrubs that have hot pink flowers surrounded by the spring. And a bay & lemon grass which comes contained by the house for the winter. Oh there's the house plants too. : )
Annuals & veggies this year are basil,rosemary,shallots,garlic,fingerlin... potatoes,14 tomatoes,1 green pepper, 6 italian sweet pepper, 2 mammoth jalepenos, 4 cayenne peppers, 4 hot cherry pepper, 4 eggplants, a bed of beets, sugar snap peas,2 pool ball zucchini & ground cherries.
In slack baskets petunias,lobelia & something else I can't remember the name of. And some marigolds.
We also incline chickens for eggs & rabbits for meat. I do alot of canning.
Betcha regard as we got a few acres huh?
Nope! All of this is grown on a 1/4 acre which includes our moblie home,. Now sure how we do it but we do near out it looking like a mess. But everything have it's place (that's the hubby).
There's nothing similar to going out my door & picking fresh herbs & veggies within the summer or grabbing a jar of something that I can in the winter and tallying the herbs that I dried myself (which are WAY better than store bought).
We bring back alot of people that stop for eggs & comment how they expected for a moment old couple to live here but are surprised when they see us one a few years from forty.

Answers: I'm the son of an mature farmer - who turned to civil engineering for his job. Dad grew up on a small farm contained by Southern Utah back surrounded by the 1930s & 1940s. As he raised his own nearest and dearest, he always planted a garden - incompletely to teach me and my siblings in the order of responsibility. Now that I've got my own familial, I still plant a garden every year - I'm in charge of the veggies and fruit trees, and my wife is surrounded by charge of the perennial and annual flowers in the flower bed.
I've got peach, nectarine, apple, and cherry trees - beside the cherry tree having five different varities graft in... In the veggie garden, I plant corn, tomatoes, pepper, watermelon, and cucumbers. I've also got several currant bushes that are "heirloom" plants from my grandmother's courtyard in Southern Utah.
Each spring I look forward to tilling & preparing my garden nouns for planting. It has taken me nine springs to achieve my garden area where on earth the soil is in excellent condition.
My wife's flower gardens consist of water-wise local perennials, and annuals in areas that bring back more water from our sprinkler system overspray.
We routinely gain compliments on our yard, and we also routinely bring asked to teach neighborhood groups almost gardening, pruning fruit trees, etc.
I know that my wife's hands are surely beautiful - even when they're caked near dirt from her working in the flower bed.
