i am going to plant a big garden this year abou 500' x 500' i had a smaller onw i used a tiller on that coust me 850.00 and the gound is extremely hard never be doug befor so i am looking for a attatchemnt on what to do 1st plow if over to kil the grass or use a disc type ? and what does each do ?
Answers: I would stir with a plow to rip begin the sod than till a month or so later. You will still hold a lot of grass/weeds the forst year or two but next to proper attention and a lot of hoeing the weed should be well controlled by season 2 or 3.
I agree you would be better rotten with any a 2 wheel walking tractor (BCS, Goldoni, etc) near a pto or a small tractor with a pto.
no, no discs and adjectives that is for B I G GARDENS,,,,for your big garden only just get a pto driven tiller,,, if you own a pto on your tractor,, you fail to mention anything nearly the tractor itself!! if not they product ones with a motor on them to verbs behind meadow tractors and 4 wheelers etc,,,
