i only just need a tree i can grow contained by full shade, very minimal sun. Needs to be hardy and considerable growing. Not interested in a tree fern or any palms.

Answers:    YUCCA! Yuccas will grow contained by nearly all conditions. You could buy a yucca rattan or yucca head. Most nurseries will own them too, so readily available.
