need to dig an nouns of lawn up to lay a patio. what would you do next to the turf thats been removed?
Put it green side down on a compost heap. Throw away at local Tip, or turn it over and use on compost
I would find a division of your garden , where you can stack the turves on top of respectively other,grass side down. Keep watered in dry weather. It should rot down in in the region of 9months, when it will make very cood compost for your bed You have some choices. Throw it away, place it where you stipulation sod, or chop it up and compost it.
