My 3 year old loves collecting rocks everywhere we dance. She has be doing this since she was around 1yr. old. I own saved adjectives these rocks for her.
Now the question is what should I do beside these rocks? (OUTSIDE) I've thought about a rock garden but how do you fix them where on earth weeds won't grow up around them??
Just have need of some good accepted wisdom. Thank you.
Answers: before putting the rock garden down, which is a wonderful impression by the way, put down strapping plastic after spraying the area beside a good weed murderer like Round-Up. The fatty plastic will keep the weed from coming through. It works great. That would be a wonderful gift for your daughter and as she add rocks, the memories will grow, not the weeds! I hope it turns out lovely!
don't use weed killer use saline, your daughter doesn't need to breathe contained by round-up.then put down the plastic and afterwards the rocks and maybe a gluey wired screen, that other fascinated me as a child and maybe put a bridge close by for looks or one that she can still physically cross for fun. and some flowers, and maybe for a time statue... when it rains it will be especially pleasing to her eyes
