What time of the year do you plant foxglove? Im in Columbus, Ohio

Im in Columbus, Ohio
You can plant them presently, or pretty much any time as long as the ground isn't frozen. They grow well from seed, and those can be planted at most times of the year as economically.

Every plant has it's season, foxglove is no different. JUNE ?? a bit unpunctually mate. Spring is the time to plant foxglove, anytime up to the end of May to achieve results. June ? it will grow but you will not bring the display, but happy gardening anyway. Are you putting in a plant or spreading nut? Seed you would do after the last frost (May/June), but if you have a plant you freshly bought, it can go into the ground right now. You lately need to keep the plant watered to establish itself.

You should plant seeds contained by the beginning of spring. Because the plants come up in June until September. You can still find them surrounded by Garden stores and they can be planted now. They multiply and so far I have be getting them every year, and they are beautiful.
