My front garden gets plentifully of sun so I planted stuff that is drought tolerant like cone flowers and black eyed susan's. I get the cone flowers in pink, yellow, and white. after I found the black eyed susans in the typical yellow and also an orangey color. They self pip and are very hardy so they have looked great for over 4 years presently!

i would recommend a morning glory day lily. they prefer sunshine but can grow in partial sunlight. they also provide a nice flash of color to a mulch bed
