What plants are really strong to kill in cold blood? We have an vacate flowerbed that we want to put some...

We have an vacate flowerbed that we want to put some plants in. We are the lowest green-fingered people contained by the world, and have an inopportune habit of bloodbath any plant we try to care for. We also hold 2 dogs and 3 cats. Can you suggest any hardwearing plants that are hardy enough to withstand us and will not poison our zoo?
Thanks :-)
Answers:    I'd suggest some hardy perennial shrubs. Preferably ones beside thorns on. My cats and dog tend to stay away from them!!

However, my Hebes, Wegelia and Lavenders have adjectives stood up to the onslaught so far. Buddlieas are totally easy to grow, produce lots of flowers and attract bees/butterflies but they entail maintenance as they can grow HUGE.

Perhaps a border of Lavenders or Heathers might be a perfect idea?
apt luck, ot won't be up to the "hardiest plant " in the world. simply like your "zoo" everything requirements TLC and a garden needs lots of it. sorry, solitary suggestion is to plant some perrenials that "eventually" over the yrs. take smaller amount care.
