Answers:    It depends on your location; there are so frequent spiders that do this, it's not really possible to know without greatly more detail as to location, size, color, etc. Here in Washington state, profoundly of the spiders that do this are European Garden Spiders, but there are other kind as well. Probably within is more than one kind where on earth you live, too :-)
