What make a burning bushes leaves turn brown and crunchy?
Answers: I believe it's from the lack of water. It cause the cells inside to shrink and the leaves become brittle and they loose their color because the chlorophyll can't be expressed without hose down. I'm pretty sure that's why.

If they are burning they should be a little bit more than brown. More like blackish, near a hint of fire.
