Answers: It looks like it is a pomegranate tree or bush (depending on growth model & pruning). I have one contained by my backyard, and it sure looks the same as yours. I notice some round fruits on your plant -- cut one open and see what it looks close to inside. The fruit on mine won't be ripe until late Sept./early Oct. but I am contained by AZ. Enjoy the fruit, they are delicious.
I don't know. I own one in my final yard, too and I'm trying to integer it out. We love the flowers that emerge from the red waxy 'bells" but unfortunately, the blooms don't ending very long. We live within the Texas Panhandle... maybe they don't close to the dry, dusty heat. If you integer out what it is, let me know!
