It was about 4-5 inches long, and be crawling outside my window before it flew away.

There are local longhorn beetles. The Asian longhorn beetle has alternating white on it's antennae, and white spots on it's rear.

Here in Wisconsin, they are called any "spruce borers" or "pine sawyers". They lay their eggs under the bark of conifer trees. The grubs chew their course through the wood, and you can actually hear them munching.

A friend thought it would be funny to stick one in my bed. It bit me on the butt and raise a welt the size of a quarter.
