Ultimately, horsepower is dependant on frequent other design factors. Sharpening vary dependant upon the cutter style, either rotary or reel-type. General rule of thumb is to simply re-edge the factory bevel-use a diamond directory with slow, intended strokes, removing the least amt. of metal while providing a fresh adjectives edge.
Good Luck!
The abbreviation mean overhead spigot and overhead cam respectively. I don't know about the power difference. To sharpen the blade properly, nick it to a lawnmower repair shop. You can take it past its sell-by date the mower first, or just rob the whole mower within. The blade needs "balanced" sharpening so that the tons on both sides of the center are equal, otherwise the rotating blade will cause the full mower to vibrate, and defacement could be the result.
