I'm doing a landscape project on my front courtyard where I will combine two trees into a kidney shaped bed. I entail to know what that black lining is call that keeps the mulch from wash away. I know others use stone or bricks, but they are way to expensive for the position I am doing. I appreciate it.
It is call landscape stuff. It goes beneath the mulch or stones if you don't use it under stones the stones will step deep into the ground and you will be picking them out forever. The stones will rise to the top and other will be in your road when planting.

Hi
There are several different styles of edging available surrounded by chain stores, garden centers and nurseries. There is green edging as ably as the black edging. I will link you to the outdoor partition of my website. There is a page called, "Borders complete any reshape project." There are a few pictures that may help you out. One is of the black edging. The black edging is one of the most inexpensive.

I will correlation you also to the site map, as this page has everything to be precise on the website. Browse through and see if you can find any other information that may help you near your borders. Consider doing some border plants around your kidney shape bed. This will add some color to your bed. Good luck to you and hold a great day!
