What is the best route to store garden picked cucumbers? Mine hold on to getting soft by subsequent light of day.?

I put mine in the refrigerator, and they stay crisp for days. idd say pickle em if you similar to pickles and if you dont put in basment or freezer or in airsucked place
Answers: I sent this to Hints From Heloise and she published it a few years ago. After you pick them, put a little but of melted wax (from a candle or paraffin) on the train that was attached to the vine. This seals within the moisture and they won't get soft. It works - I promise.
You can either maintain them in the fridge or on the countertop - whichever way you prefer to get through them.
