I bought a rose tree that says it wants to be in a all right drained pot. What type of pot do I need? I own some big plastic ones, that seem to enjoy that area for river to flow up at the bottom...?

Answers:    I never heard of putting plants contained by pots they are perennial so the will need lots of room over the years.
But psyche you really want to put it in a pot. I would capture about the biggest one I could find. Plastic or clay is fine.
