Looking for something that is environmentally friendly. I've hear everything from vinegar to boiling water. Has anyone have success beside these methods?
Answers: Salt will spoil the soil for years and does spread so never a good model unless it is an area you will never plant.
Vinegar works as long as you are using the 25% type (not found contained by regular stores-that's 5% on not strong/acid enough to do much good) This works powerfully but can be dangerous as it will burn skin and lungs if inhaled. It also is enormously hard of any non metal surfaces contained by a sprayer so if you go this route be sure to verbs your equipment extremely well.
Boil dampen works for small areas but it also can harm the spoil critters. this have to be repeated and will not work on adult plants, especially bi-annuals and perennials
RoundUp is a chemical herbicide that have known resolve in the soil of over a year and is tremendously harmful to adjectives life so never use around marine ways. Despite claims roundup must be used over and over again to keep weed in control, especially bi-annuals and perennials.
